Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Bright Infonet (“we”, “us”, or “our”), the operator of the PVgenix website, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit this website or contact us through it. PVgenix is a software platform; this policy covers only the public marketing website and the enquiries submitted through it — it does not govern data processed inside a licensed PVgenix application instance, which is addressed in the applicable customer agreement. By using this website you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically. Information you provide: when you submit the demo-request or contact form, we collect your name, work email address, organization, and any details you include in your message. Information collected automatically: when you browse the website we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your consent choices (see our Cookie / GDPR Notice). We do not intentionally collect special-category personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not include sensitive or patient health information in form submissions.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to respond to your demo requests and enquiries, to communicate with you about PVgenix and Bright Infonet services you have asked about, to operate, secure, and improve the website, to understand how the website is used through aggregated analytics, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use form submissions for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Legal bases for processing

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for non-essential cookies and optional analytics); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, promoting our services to a business audience, and keeping the website secure; the performance of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

Sharing and disclosure

We share personal data only as needed to operate the website and our business: with service providers who host the website, deliver email, and provide analytics on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms; with professional advisers; and where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. If Bright Infonet is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

International transfers

We may process and store personal data in locations outside your country of residence, including where our service providers operate. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent recognized mechanism — to protect it in line with applicable data-protection law.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Demo-request and contact enquiries are retained for the period needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Cookie and analytics data is retained according to the periods described in our Cookie / GDPR Notice.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to request erasure, to restrict or object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@pvgenix.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data submitted through the website, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access for the staff who handle enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to address any incident promptly.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact info@pvgenix.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. Your continued use of the website after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
